When I decided I wanted guidance, focus, and direction in my life I really did not know where to begin. I looked all over for resources, but ultimately I had such a difficult time finding the right kind of inspiration. There’s a ton of career advice out there. Some of it is great, and some of it doesn’t apply to anything ever. Over the course of my career I have been blessed to work under some amazing people. Throughout this time I’ve been able to pick up on their skills and have fine-tuned my own abilities. I’ve had many jobs and I’ve worked with a lot of different personalities. It might have taken me a while to find my groove (and the right job for that matter), but I am definitely confident in my abilities today.

You don’t have to plan every single day in your life, but you really should at the very least have monthly goals to keep you on track. Things come up, obviously, but having a broad overview of the month and knowing what you need to accomplish (big or small!) is something every successful person does.
